DayFlow

Interactive Time Management For Adults with ADHD

With day flow users can effectively
organise their daily activities and manage their schedule flexibly throughout the day.

By allowing the user to easily interact between tasks and a dynamic time map, users can smoothly rearrange activities, and ensure that priority tasks are addressed when the actual time differs from the planned schedule.

1.Dynamic day
time visualisation

The time map is a linear clock that illustrates the hours of the day, showing the past and remaining hours along with the current time.

This dynamic day representation provides a tangible understanding of available time, enabling users to continually reassess task priorities based on the remaining time.

2. Task management

In the task section the user can 1. jot down all the tasks to be done and later organise them by color categories, priorities, and execution order. 2. Break tasks into smaller steps. 3. Estimate the time length for each step. 4. Add preparation and commuting times.

This process helps the user learn and train the steps involved, thus achieving more accurate estimations on the duration of tasks. The entered time values for each step, are then added together to provide the total estimated time for the main task.

Breaking tasks into smaller steps not only sets manageable goals, minimising feelings of overwhelm, but also provides a clear starting point and a roadmap for completing tasks.

3. Flexible Interaction between Tasks and Time

The interaction between tasks and time map allows the user to quickly visualise the tasks that fit in the available time, helping them make more accurate plans.

By Drag and dropping tasks the user can make a plan to follow, and easily remove, extend and rearrange tasks along the day.
